RACCONIGI , a See also:

town of See also:Piedmont, See also:Italy, in the See also:province of See also:Cuneo, 24 M. S. of See also:Turin, and 31 M. N. of Cuneo by See also:rail, 837 ft. above See also:sea-level. Pop. (19o1) 7364 (town); 9077 (See also:commune). It has a royal See also:chateau built in 1S7o, with a large See also:park laid out in 1755 by the See also:French gardener Molard from designs by Le Notre, and enlarged in 1835. Since 1901 it has been the summer See also:residence of the See also:king of Italy.
