SAFFI , or AsrI, a seaport on the See also:

west See also:coast of See also:Morocco, in 32° 20' N. 9° 12' W., Lo6 m. W.N.W. of See also:Marrakesh. (Pop. about 15,000.) Although the See also:principal See also:wool and See also:grain See also:port of central Morocco, the anchorage is an open roadstead and communication with the See also:shore is at times difficult. The old See also:palace with beautifully decorated courts in See also:fair repair, built by Mohammed XVII., is a prominent See also:object above the See also:town, and there are many interesting buildings and ruins.
