TARBELL, See also:EDMUND C . (1862– ), See also:American artist, was See also:born at See also:West Groton, See also:Mass., on the 26th of See also:April 1862. He was a See also:pupil of the See also:schools of the See also:Boston Museum of See also:Fine Arts and of See also:Boulanger and See also:Lefebvre, See also:Paris, and became a distinguished painter of the landscape, of the figure, and of portraits, winning various important prizes and medals at exhibitions. In 1906 he was elected a See also:National Academician, besides being a member of the Ten American Painters, and he became instructor of See also:painting in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
