VOTKINSK , a See also:

town and See also:iron-See also:works, in the See also:Russian See also:government of See also:Vyatka, 40 M. N. of See also:Sarapul and 8 m. W. from the See also:Kama, founded in 1756. Pop. 21,000. Votkinsk was formerly one of the See also:chief government establishments for the construction of steamers for the See also:Caspian, as well as of locomotives for the Siberian railway, and it has See also:long been renowned for its excellent tarantasses (See also:driving vehicles) and other smaller iron-wares, as well as for its knitted goods. Its agricultural machinery is known throughout See also:Russia.
