VOZNESENSK , a See also:

town of See also:Russia, in the See also:government of See also:Kherson, on the See also:left See also:bank of the See also:river See also:Bug, at the See also:head of See also:navigation, 55 M. N.W. from See also:Nikolayev, to which steamers ply regularly. Pop. 14,178. It is a river See also:port of some importance, and holds four large fairs annually. It contains a See also:cathedral, a public See also:garden and distilleries and breweries.
