ABGENTON , a See also:

town of western See also:France, in the See also:department of See also:Indre, on the See also:Creuse, 19 m. S.S.W. of See also:Chateauroux on the See also:Orleans railway. Pop. (1906) 5638. The See also:river is crossed by two See also:bridges, and its See also:banks are bordered by picturesque old houses. There are numerous tanneries, and the manufacture of boots and shoes and See also:linen goods is carried on. The site of the See also:ancient Argentomagus lies a little to the See also:north.
