He was made See also:archdeacon of Calatrava, and became a member of the See also:king's See also:council while See also:young. In 133 7 he was chosen archbishop of Toledo in See also:succession to his uncle by the favour of the king, See also:Alphonso XI. At the See also:battle of See also:Tarifa he fought against a See also:great invasion from See also:Africa in 1340, and at thedes Xirchenstaates, by Dr H. J. Wurm (1892).
