BEREZOVSK , a See also:

village of See also:east See also:Russia, in the See also:government of See also:Perm, on the eastern slope of the Urals, 8 m. N.E. of See also:Ekaterinburg. It is the centre of an important See also:gold-See also:mining region (5 M. by 22) of the same name. The mines have been known since 1747. The inhabitants also manufacture boots, cut See also:stone and carry on See also:cabinet-making.
