In 1900 this See also:district suffered severely from See also:famine owing to the See also:complete failure of the See also:monsoon, and the cultivated area decreased by 50 or 6o %; but, on the whole, See also:trade has improved of See also:late years owing to the new See also:railways, which have stimulated See also:commerce and created fresh centres of See also:industry.
