See also:Morgagni at See also:Padua, he began to See also:teach See also:practical See also:medicine at Bologna, but in consequence of the intrigues of which he was the See also:object he returned to Padua, where in 1771 he succeeded Morgagni in the See also:chair of See also:anatomy. He continued to lecture until 18o5 and died at Padua in 1813. His See also:works include Institutiones pathologicae (1972), Institutiones physiologicae (1773) and hones anatomicae (1801-18x3). His See also:brother, PETRONIO MARIA CALDANI (1735-1808), was See also:professor of See also:mathematics at Bologna, and was described by J. le R.
