CLOVELLY , a fishing See also:

Thick See also:woods shelter it on three sides, and render the See also:climate so mild that fuchsias and other delicate See also:plants flourish in midwinter. All See also:Saints' See also:church, restored in 1866, is See also:late See also:Norman, containing several monuments to the Carys, lords of the See also:manor for 600 years. The surrounding scenery is famous for its richness of See also:colour, especially in the grounds of See also:Cary See also:Court, and along " The See also:Hobby," a road cut through the woods and overlooking the See also:sea. Clovelly is described by See also:Dickens in A See also:Message from the Sea.
