The See also:work, dedicated to See also:Archelaus Philopator, See also:king of See also:Cappadocia, contained 50 Narratives (Ac17yi7µara, Narrationes); an See also:epitome, accompanied by brief criticisms, has been preserved in See also:Photius (See also:cod. 186). The See also:style is See also:good, being founded on the best See also:Attic See also:models, and the whole is agreeable to read. Nicolaus of See also:Damascus is said to have made considerable use of the work (edition by U. See also:Hofer, 189o).
