It received the name of Flavia See also:Constans by a rescript of the See also:emperor See also:Constantine, a copy of which on a See also:marble tablet is still preserved at Spello. The See also:gate by which the town is entered is ancient and has three portrait statues above it; two other See also:gates and a See also:part of the See also:city See also:wall, built of rectangular blocks of See also:local See also:limestone, may still be seen, as also the ruins of what is possibly a triumphal See also:arch (attributed to Augustus) and an See also:amphitheatre, and perhaps of a See also:theatre, See also:close to the See also:modern high-road, outside the town.
