ICTINUS , the architect of the See also:

Parthenon at See also:Athens, of the See also:Hall of the Mysteries at See also:Eleusis, and of the See also:temple of See also:Apollo at Bassae, near See also:Phigalia. He was thus active about 450-430 B.C. We know little else about him; but the remains of his two See also:great temples testify to his wonderful mastery of the principles of See also:Greek See also:architecture.
