Their former range was See also:British See also:Columbia, along the Kootenay See also:lake and See also:river. They were always friendly to the whites and noted for their honesty. In 1904 there were some 550 in British Columbia; and in 1908 there were 6o6 on the Flathead Agency, See also:Montana.
