She made her first See also:appearance on the See also:stage at See also:Tours in 1787 and a successful debut at the Comedie Francaise in 1788 in L'Ecossaise and L'See also:Oracle. She followed See also:Talma and the others in 1791 to the See also:Rue See also:Richelieu, but returned after a few months to the Comedic Frangaise. Here her See also:talent and beauty gave her an enormous success in See also:Francois do Neucha.teau's Pamela, the performance of which brought upon the See also:theatre the vials of wrath of the See also:Committee of Safety. With the author and the other members of the See also:caste, she was arrested and imprisoned. After the 9th See also:Thermidor she rejoined her comrades at the See also:Feydeau, but retired on the 16th of See also:December 1797, reappearing only for a few performances in 1807. She had, meantime, married the son of a See also:rich Belgian named Simons. She died on the 25th of May 1816.
