SARI , a See also:

town of See also:Persia, in the See also:province of See also:Mazandaran, on the See also:left See also:bank of the Tejen See also:river, 8o m. S.W. of See also:Astarabad. Pop. ro,000. It is the seat of the See also:governor of Mazandaran, and has See also:post and See also:telegraph offices. The town is picturesque but very unhealthy, has See also:stone-paved streets and houses built of See also:brick and covered with See also:green and red glazed tiles.
