It contains a handsome See also:castle built in 1469—1475 for Galeazzo Maria See also:Sforza by Benedetto Terrini (cf. L. Beltrami, Il See also:Castello di Soncino, See also:Milan, 189o). The town was the seat of a See also:Hebrew See also:printing-See also:press founded in 1472, but suppressed in 1597, when the See also:Jews were expelled from the duchy of Milan.
