TERVUEREN , a small See also:

town of See also:Belgium in the See also:province of See also:Brabant, midway between See also:Brussels and See also:Louvain. Pop. (1904) 4017. It contained an See also:ancient See also:abbey and a See also:hunting See also:chateau belonging to the See also:dukes of Brabant. The See also:fine See also:park of Tervueren is really See also:part of the See also:forest of See also:Soignies. The Colonial Museum and See also:World's Colonial School are established here, and Tervueren is connected with Brussels by a fine broad See also:avenue, traversed by an electric See also:tramway as well as by See also:carriage and other roads, and between 6 and 7 M. in length.
