(1900) 2339; (1907) 3157, including 624 See also:Indians and 479 negroes; (1910) 4082. Vinita is served by the See also:Missouri, See also:Kansas & See also:Texas and the St See also:Louis & See also:San Francisco See also:railways. In the city are the Sacred See also:Heart See also:Institute (See also:Roman See also:Catholic), and a See also:hospital for masons. Vinita is situated in an agricultural and stock-raising region, and See also:lead, See also:zinc, oil and natural See also:gas are found in the vicinity; the city's See also:water See also:supply is obtained from artesian See also:wells. Bricks are manufactured. The first See also:settlement was made here in 187o and Vinita was chartered as a city in 1898.
