AHMED TEWFIK, See also:PASHA (1845– ) , See also:Turkish diplomatist. was the son of See also:Ismail Hakki Pasha. I-Ie was at first in the See also:army, but Ieft the service in 1862; four years later he entered the See also:diplomatic service, being employed at various See also:European capitals. He became See also:minister at See also:Athens in 1883 and See also:ambassador in See also:Berlin in 1884. He was appointed minister for See also:foreign affairs (Kharijie Naziri) in 1896.
