BULLI , a See also:

It is the headquarters of the Bulli See also:Mining See also:Company, whose See also:coal-mine on the flank of the See also:Illawarra Mountains is worked by a See also:tunnel, 2 M. See also:long, driven into the See also:heart of the See also:mountain. From this tunnel the coal is conveyed by rail for 12 in. to a See also:pier, whence it is shipped to Sydney, See also:Melbourne and See also:Brisbane by a See also:fleet of See also:steam colliers. The beautiful Bulli Pass, loon ft. above the See also:sea, over the Illawarra range, is one of the most attractive tourist resorts in Australia.
