Owing to its position at the See also:terminus of See also:steam See also:navigation up the See also:river Tobol, it has become second only to See also:Tyumen as a commercial centre. It has a public library and a botanic See also:garden. There is a large See also:trade in See also:cattle with See also:Petropavlovsk, and considerable export of See also:grain, See also:tallow, See also:meat, hides, See also:butter, See also:game and See also:fish, there being three large fairs in the See also:year.
