S.W. of See also:Breslau by See also:rail. Pop. (1905) 9000. Its See also:main See also:industries are See also:flax-See also:spinning, See also:linen-See also:weaving and manufactures of See also:cloth, shoes and See also:beer. The town See also:dates from the 13th See also:century, being originally a fortress built for See also:protection against the Bohemians. There the Prussians defeated the Austrians in May 1i45, and in See also:June 1760 the Prussians were routed by a greatly See also:superior force of Austrians.
