VIVERO , a See also:

town of See also:north-western' See also:Spain, in the See also:province of See also:Lugo; on the Ria de Vivero, an See also:estuary formed by the See also:river Landrove, which here enters the See also:Bay of See also:Biscay. Pop, (1900) 12,843. Vivero is an old-fashioned and picturesque town, connected with the opposite See also:bank of the estuary by a See also:bridge of twelve See also:arches and a See also:causeway. Its fishing See also:fleet, its See also:coasting See also:trade and the agricultural products of the fertile See also:country around are important. The only means of communication with the interior is by the road to Cabreiros, for Lugo and See also:Ferrol.
