ABENSBERG , a See also:

town of See also:Germany, in the See also:kingdom of See also:Bavaria, on the Abens, a tributary of the See also:Danube, 18 m. S.W. of See also:Regensburg, with which it is connected by See also:rail. Pop. 2202. It has a small See also:spa, and its See also:sulphur See also:baths are resorted to for the cure of See also:rheumatism and See also:gout. The town is the Castra Abusina of the See also:Romans, and See also:Roman remains exist in the neighbourhood. Here, on the loth of See also:April 1809, See also:Napoleon gained a See also:signal victory over the Austrians under the See also:Archduke See also:Louis and See also:General See also:Hiller.
