Holsten was an adherent of the See also:Tubingen school, and held to See also:Baur's views on the alleged antagonism between Petrinism and Paulinism. Among his writings are Zum Evangelium d. See also:Paulus and d. Petrus (1867) ; Das Evangelium See also:des Paulus dargestellt (188o) ; See also:Die synoptischen Evengelien nach der See also:Form ihres Inhalts (1886).
