Cicero offered to See also:supply the material, and hinted that Lucceius need not See also:sacrifice laudation to accuracy. Lucceius almost promised, but did not perform. Nothing remains of any such See also:work or of his history. In the civil See also:war he took the See also:side of See also:Pompey; but, having been pardoned by See also:Caesar, returned to See also:Rome, where he lived in retirement until his See also:death.
