Size 36X 13 in. Is of the nature of a See also:leopard and prettily marked with stripes and oblong spots. Only a few are now imported from See also:South See also:America for See also:carriage aprons or mats. The See also:numbers are very limited. Value Is. to 2s. 6d. See also:Opossum, See also:AMERICAN.—Size 18X lo in. Is a marsupial, a class with this exception not met with out of See also:Australia. The underwool is of a very See also:close frizzy nature, and nearly See also:white, with See also:long bluish See also:grey mixed with some See also:black See also:top See also:hair. It is only found in the central sections of the See also:United States. About 1870 in See also:England it was dyed dark See also:brown or black and used for boas, muffs and trimmings, but until recently has been neglected on the See also:continent. With, however, See also:recent experiments in brown and See also:skunk coloured dyes, it bids See also:fair to become a popular See also:fur.
