POTOTAN , a See also:

town of the See also:province of Iloilo, See also:island of Panay, Philippine Islands, on the Jalaur See also:river, about 17 M. N. of Iloilo. Pop. (1903), 37,373, including the See also:population of See also:Dingle (12,129) and See also:Mina (4280), annexed after the See also:census was taken. There is a See also:fine See also:church in the old town and a large See also:stone church in Dingle; in the old town are several other buildings of See also:masonry and some beautiful " See also:fire " trees for shade. The See also:principal See also:industries are the cultivation of See also:sugar-See also:cane, See also:Indian See also:corn, See also:rice, See also:tobacco and See also:hemp, and the raising of See also:cattle, carabaos, See also:sheep and horses.
