RABBA , a See also:

town of See also:British See also:West See also:Africa, in the See also:province of See also:Nupe, See also:Northern See also:Nigeria, on the See also:left See also:bank of the See also:Niger, in 9° 6' N., and zoo m. above the confluence of the Niger and the See also:Benue. At the See also:time of See also:Richard See also:Lander's visit in 1830 it was a See also:place of 40,000 inhabitants and one of the most important markets in the See also:country. In 1867 See also:Gerhard See also:Rohlfs found it with only 500 inhabitants. The town has somewhat recovered its position since the See also:establishment of British See also:rule in 1902.
