RAVI , a See also:

river of See also:India, one of the " Five See also:Rivers " of the See also:Punjab. It rises in the See also:Kulu subdivision of See also:Kangra See also:district, flows through See also:Chamba See also:state, and enters See also:British territory again in See also:Gurdaspur district. At Madhupur the See also:head See also:works of the See also:Bari See also:Doab See also:canal draw off a large portion of its See also:waters. Thence it flows through the plains of the Punjab, passing within a mile of See also:Lahore, and finally falls into the See also:Chenab after a course of about 450 M.
