See also:west of the railway station is Tuxedo See also:Lake, which with 13,000 acres of surrounding See also:country was taken for See also:debt in 1814 by the See also:elder See also:Pierre Lorillard, who built a See also:shooting-See also:box here and sold See also:wood from the See also:land. The second Pierre Lorillard (1833–1901) formed the Tuxedo See also:Park Association for the development of the See also:tract, and on the 1st of See also:June 1886 the Tuxedo See also:Club and Tuxedo Park were opened; here there has grown up a remarkable collection of private establishments for the enjoyment of country See also:life by certain wealthy families, who See also:form a social club to whom the privileges are restricted. The See also:area covers a variety of See also:wild and cultivated scenery, and is beautifully laid out and utilized; there are See also:golf links, a See also:tennis and racket club, and See also:game preserves, with excellent See also:trout and See also:bass fishing in the lake.
