VIERSEN , a See also:

Pop. (1905) 27,577. It has an evangelical and four See also:Roman See also:Catholic churches, among the latter the handsome See also:parish See also:church dating from the 15th See also:century, and various educational establishments. Viersen is one of the See also:chief seats in the See also:lower Rhine See also:country for the manufacture of velvets, silks (especially See also:umbrella covers) and See also:plush.
