WANGARATTA , a See also:

town of See also:Victoria, See also:Australia, in the counties of Moira, Delatite and Bogong, at the junction of the Ovens and See also:King See also:rivers, 1451 M. by See also:rail N.E. of See also:Melbourne. Pop. (1901) 2621. It is a prosperous little town in an agricultural See also:district and is the see of an See also:Anglican See also:bishop. It has numerous See also:industries, including See also:flour-milling, tanning, fellmongery, See also:brewing, See also:coach-See also:building, See also:bacon-curing, and See also:bicycle and See also:butter making. Important stock sales are held fortnightly, and there is an See also:annual agricultural See also:exhibition.
