ZEULENRODA , a See also:

town of See also:Germany, in the principality of See also:Reuss-the-See also:Elder, situated on a high See also:plateau in a well-wooded and hilly See also:country, 35 M. N. from See also:Hof by the railway to See also:Werdau. Pop. (1900) 9419. The town contains a handsome town See also:hall, several churches and See also:schools, and carries on an active See also:industry in See also:cotton and woollen See also:stocking manufacture. Zeulenroda is mentioned as a See also:village as See also:early as 1399, and it obtained municipal rights in 1438. Since 1500 it has belonged to the See also:Greiz See also:branch of the Reuss See also:line of princes.
