With Amants he won a See also:great success, and the See also:play was hailed by Jules See also:Lemaitre as the See also:Berenice of contemporary French See also:drama. Very advanced ideas on the relations between the sexes dominate the whole series of plays, and the witty See also:dialogue is written with an apparent carelessness that approximates very closely to the See also:language of every See also:day.
