GUTERSLOH , a See also:

town of See also:Germany, in the Prussian See also:province of See also:Westphalia, i 1 m. S. W. from See also:Bielefeld by the railway to See also:Dortmund. Pop. (1905), 7375• It is a seat of See also:silk and See also:cotton See also:industries, and has a large See also:trade in Westphalian hams and sausages. See also:Printing, See also:brewing and distilling are also carried on, and the town is famous for its See also:rye-See also:bread (Pumpernickel). Gutersloh has two Evangelical churches, a See also:Roman See also:Catholic See also:church, a See also:synagogue, a school and other educational establishments.
