Its name has not been found on See also:Egyptian monuments, but it may be the See also:Sin of the See also:Bible and of See also:Assur-bani-See also:pal's inscription. Pelusium (" the muddy ") is the Farama of the See also:Arabs, Peremoun in Coptic; the name Tina which clings to the locality seems etymologically connected with the Arabic word for See also:clay or mud.
