The town, which consists of two parts, the Barrio de Sevilla and Barrio de Triana, contains several handsome public buildings, among them the See also:church of See also:Santiago, with its three naves. See also:Water is conveyed to Totana from the Sierra de Espuna by an See also:aqueduct 7 M. See also:long. See also:Saltpetre is obtained among the hills, and there is a thriving See also:trade in See also:wheat, oranges, See also:olives, almonds, and See also:wine from the Sangonera valley. Other See also:industries are•the manufacture of See also:linen, See also:leather and the earthenware jars called tinajas, which are used for the storage of oil and wine.
