VICUNA is a See also:

species of See also:long-necked See also:sheep native to See also:South See also:America, bearing some resemblance to the See also:guanaco, but the See also:fur is shorter, closer and much finer. The See also:colour is a See also:pale See also:golden-See also:brown and the fur is held in See also:great repute in South America for See also:carriage rugs. The See also:supply is evidently small as the prices are high. There is scarcely a commercial See also:quotation in See also:London, few coming in except from private See also:sources. 2s. 6d. to 5s. 6d. may be considered as the See also:average value.
