He became a member of the See also:National See also:Academy of See also:Design, New York, in 1891; of the American See also:Water Color Society and of the Royal See also:Institute of Painters in Water See also:Colours, See also:London. He received a See also:medal and a diploma at See also:Chicago, 1893; and medals at See also:Buffalo, 1901; See also:Charleston, 1902; and St See also:- LOUIS
