Those from the See also:United States and Asia are harsher in quality and browner. A few black See also:American specimens come into the See also:market, but usually the quality is poor compared to the lighter furred See also:animal. The Siberian is smaller than the North American and the See also:Russian still smaller. Besides the wolf propera large number of See also:prairie or dog wolves from America and Asia are used for cheaper rugs. In size they are less than See also:half that of a large wolf and are of a See also:motley sandy See also:colour. See also:Numbers of the Russian are retained for See also:home use. The finest wolves are very See also:light weighted and most suitable for See also:carriage aprons, in fact, ideal for the purpose, though lacking the strength of some other furs. Wolves . value 2s.
