It lies at an See also:elevation of 1028 ft. towards the western extremity of the See also:Great Dividing range. It is the commercial-See also:ARASON centre of the See also:north-western See also:grain and See also:wool-producing See also:district and is also noted for its See also:quartz and alluvial See also:gold-mines. Excellent See also:wine is made, and See also:flour-milling, See also:leather-working, See also:brick and See also:candle making and See also:soap-boiling are the See also:chief See also:industries.
