It is situated on the right See also:bank of the See also:Danube, and carries on a brisk See also:trade in See also:wine and the agricultural produce of the neighbourhood. Amongst its See also:principal buildings are an old See also:castle and the summer See also:palace of the See also:bishop of See also:Pecs. Mohacs is famous in the See also:history of Hungary by the two fateful battles which took See also:place in the See also:plain situated about 3 M.
