It is situated on the See also:top of a See also:hill 87o ft. above See also:sea-level, whence there is a beautiful view, and it retains a portion of its See also:ancient town See also:wall (2nd See also:century B.C.). The restored See also:cathedral has a portal with sculptures of the 13th century, an old See also:crypt, a See also:fine See also:bronze See also:font of the 16th century and a See also:series of portraits of all the bishops of the see; the town See also:hall contains a number of statues found on the site of the ancient See also:forum and also a few See also:good pictures. The See also:castle (1489) was built by See also:Baccio Pontelli. See also:Silk-See also:spinning and the raising of cocoons are carried on.
