SUECA , a See also:

town of eastern See also:Spain, in the See also:province of See also:Valencia, near the See also:left See also:bank of the See also:river See also:Jucar, and on the Silla-See also:Cullera railway. Pop. (1900), 14,435. Sueca is separated from the Mediterranean See also:Sea (7 M. See also:east) by the Sierra de Cullera. It is a See also:modern town, although many of the houses have the See also:flat See also:roofs, view-turrets (miradores) and horseshoe See also:arches characteristic of Moorish See also:architecture. There are a few handsome public buildings, such as the See also:hospital, town-See also:hall and See also:theatre. Sueca has a thriving See also:trade in See also:grain and See also:fruit from the Jfcar valley, which is irrigated by waterways created by the See also:Moors.
