On the 21st of the following See also:June he assisted in achieving the victory of Arnayle-Due, and was then employed to negotiate a See also:marriage between the prince of See also:Navarre and See also: He was condemned, nevertheless, on the 27th of See also:October 1572, to the last See also:penalty and to the See also:confiscation of his See also:property, and on the 20th of October he and Cavagnes were executed.
