Fuente Ovejuna is built on a See also:hill, in a well-irrigated See also:district, which, besides producing an abundance of See also:wheat, See also:wine, See also:fruit and See also:honey, also contains argentiferous See also:lead mines and See also:stone quarries. See also:Cattle-breeding is an important See also:local See also:industry, and See also:leather, preserved See also:meat, See also:soap and See also:flour are manufactured. The See also:parish See also:church formerly belonged to the knights of Calatrava (c. 1163-1486).
