The remains, which are partly incorporated in a See also:modern See also:building, include the See also:Norman west front of the See also:church, the See also:Early See also:English cloisters, the See also:chapter-See also:house, See also:gate-house (the See also:chapel of which is restored to use), and other portions. About Addington near West Mailing are considerable prehistoric remains, including mounds, single stones, See also:stone circles and pits in the See also:chalk hills; while at Leybourne are the gateway and other fragments of the See also:castle held by the Leybourne See also:family from the 12th to the 14th See also:century.
